Random Power loss UPDATE
« on: December 04, 2012, 10:44:53 pm »
I posted recently about this and thought it was my DV, but I reckon it can't be:

Just driving normally, then on a random occasion there is no boost. No CEL's. Car still drives, but the turbo seems to have been neutered. I assume it must be some sort of limp mode. If I switch the engine off and on again it's fine and boosts normally so it can't be a loose hose or anything mechanical (I assume).

Has happened a few times this week.

Strange one

Just had a dealer diagnostic. Only fault thrown up was p0234 overboost, which is causing the limp mode.

Would a different N75 version help?? Dealer seems to think I should either accept it or flash back to stock.

^^^ Dealer said no faults with the N75/N249 and no boost leaks at all.

I think I'll contact my tuner and see if he can tweak the map.

Google tells me that they are ChippedIre which is the same as ChippedUK.

I wish you luck.
