Yep  Its a similar cooler as i run on the MK3 with 420bhp so should be fine I assume they are made / designed to fit in front of the crash bar but i wanted to push it back away from the bumper a bit as we do have the odd nudge, it just protects it a little more. Oh im not keen on the silicone hoses they supply so they will be changed.

Yeah looks good mate, good to see it reached you all ok! The packaging was pretty good. I did look at the piping and it did look 3 ply but you never know! At least the clips were goodens :)

When you toast the rotors I've got some fully AP fully floating ones that the cup cars are using with Caparo offset, if you don't mind some branding I'll sort you price wise.

Great project what size MCs you using and I'm assuming its NOT an AP pedal box

Hi i might have to take you up on the rotors, What size are they?

Ive mocked the pedal box up using the latest OBP box its not to bad but might change to a Tilton unit at a later date
They have supplied a 0.625 0.70 & 0.75, ive never used a bias box before so have a lot to learn.

Your input would be useful

Thanks Steve

Now ive seen this thread pop up a few times, never really gave it a thought. But my oh my!  :surprised: This thing is going to be amazing. I love the bodywork you've done. Do you plan on going red like the Mk3?  :ashamed:  :drinking:

Suspension = KW V3 with altered spring rates but for some reason ive got 50mm of rear wheel arch clearance on the lowest setting

Since this is a race car why not go for more hardcore coilovers (KW Clubsport for example)?

Cost mainly, So i'm going to have a play with spring rates, I only use Gas Gold's on the MK3 with high ib front springs this is enough to be a class record holder so i wonder what the gain would be on a side by side test.
