4Wheel align - on worn\scrubbed tyres
« on: December 10, 2012, 07:31:49 pm »
I have neglected my alignment since fitting some springs, and it the extra neggy camber on the back is rounding the inner 3 quarters ish away and I am also getting 'saw tooth' wear that creates the wheel bearing type sounds.

I have also knocked the very inner edge off the fronts.

They are all legal tho as they are still well within the tread limits.

The place I am intending to use for the alignment tells me they cannot do the job on tyres worn in such a way as it wont sit on the machine right..(they have a hunter).

I dont doubt they know theyre stuff but I'm just a little sceptical about this, as they do sell tyres. It seems a shame to bin them with loads of tread on them!

Any advice appreciated as always!

Cheers
