Those AST coilovers are mega! Handles like a go kart with them. Impressed me 100% would leave my TTRS in the twisties no problems

Plus if they decide to turn it more track orientated there are linear springs available as well.  Thats what SteveP had on his iirc.

Why 235's?  its doing a 3.3 0-60 so its not traction.  And too much grip will mean it bogs down surely.

More grip means better cornering as well as being able to launch at a higher rpm.

I'm running 235's and they are superb  and I'd probably go even wider!

Not needed IMO.  Its still a road car at the end of the day, its not a race car.  When i had it i dont think at any point it crossed my mind that it needed wider tyres or any more grip.  Too much grip will just end up being boring anyway, a little slipping and sliding is needed  :driver:

You're obviously doing it wrong or not trying hard enough then Sy :P

I guess I'd have to try them back to back against my car to be sure. Or are you also not trying hard enough like Sy

Don't worry Sy, once you are up in the back of beyond there are plenty of chances to open up an R without attracting the plod.

That maybe where I've got the idea in my head about the AST's being fairly harsh as I can remember Steve saying he couldn't stand the noise and ride on the journey down to JKM's earlier this year.

Progressive springs for the road, linear springs for the track.  Simples.

I know that feeling. I sh!t myself going round some roundabouts as the car is that planted. You literally are out the other side before you realise you've entered!

No, but I remember someone telling me they weren't exactly comfortable. For me the Bilsteins are perfect and perfectly adjustable too

Wish I went PSS10 over KwV3 even if only for the easier adjustability
