I've never felt the need to have heated seats unless you have leather, makes it a lot more comfortable on those icy mornings then.

Aren't heated seats heavier than standard items, especially racing seats.

Not having leather seats (my strong personal preference not to have leather), the need or desire to heat cloth seats is far less.

I don't like electric blankets either, so perhaps it's just a personal comfort thing.
