I must apologise for the terrible engine noise!  :scared:

Car had just been started from cold early in the morning and my iPhone picked up every rattle as if I'd left a tin of screws on top of the engine  :laugh:

Looks like it holds well :happy2:

My plan was to use the magnets to stick on my pressed plate.

Would the suckers work with a pressed plate?

On the pressed plates its just a matter of sticking them as normal and then taping the suckers onto the back with some duck tape. Go all round the suckers.

….Big Al sent me a pic of his pressed plates with the suckers taped.  :wink:

Iknow this is a very old thread but how have you got on with magnets/suction cups?
Obviously been running them a while now so wondering which is the best option.
Ordered a smooth grill yesterday :D cheers guys

^^^^ Ive had both suction cups and/or magnets on mine for years and both as good as each other. I prefer the cups, slightly less dirt and grit etc etc gets trapped but BOTH will cause some minor scratching, nothing that can't be polished out though.
