Yeah think it was Dan's.

Must have missed you Gray. Hurdy took me for a little spin aswell. Fantastic car  :driver:

I didn't even realise you we're there Matto - I'm now a fully fledged member of the 170 TDI club  so would have liked a passenger ride in yours

That's a shame mate. Would have gladly taken you a little spin. Is yours still standard then?

Yeah I only got it just over a week ago. Really impressed with the CR engines  :happy2:

Cool. Haven't driven the newer CR170's so not sure how they compare to the PD170.

That leon 412 is insane.... it sounds on the dyno like its pulling about 250bhp... first run was 350 on what sounded like 3/4 throttle... then 412

Very healthy Rich!

What did Hurdy do then?? Did he run?

Thats good for dyno dynamics. How did it run compared to the other KO4 S2+ cars?

I thought Dans Leon was meant to be about 450hp

Mine did 345bhp and 352lbft

A little less than I thought and had to hand it to the APR cars with about 10bhp more at the top end and 40lbft peak torque more too.

I haven't had chance to fully compare any graphs though yet. Not too worried though as the WMI will be on soon and so onwards and upwards. :happy2:

Great day out with loads of spectators there and over 30 booked on the dyno's. A bit wet, but hey it's December!

Good to meet up with some of the guys off here and put faces to names and chat VAG.
Golf R gone.

So i take it we had R-Tec, REV, APR and GIAC maps all up for testing.  Id like to see graphs of equivalent stage 2+ setups for them all.  Its not often we get to see comparable graphs from the same rollers/same day etc for all the tuners.  Its normally just 10 REVO cars and 2 bluefin lol

Good to see you Hurdy and me you MattO!

Not best pleased with the results, 412 is still 50hp and 50lbft of torque lower than my last dyno run.. perhaps someone else's dyno is lying, or I do indeed have a problem.. time to investigate.  :stupid:

Shame about the sh*te weather, apart from that, good day.

Hi Rich,

Low noise? are you serious, maybe low noise driving around town but when you on full chat its a straight through exhaust, and mega loud! One of the loudest today.

I have a readers ride thread on here, the specs are on the first page

Didnt sound loud to us Dan.... which is why i thought it had only made ~250.... much to my amazement that it made 412bhp. We were all scratching our heads....  :happy2:
