Shark fin aerial fitting???
« on: January 02, 2013, 03:52:50 pm »
Hi guys had the rns 510 fitted a few weeks ago, quite fancy fitting the GPS shark fin on the roof, only problem is I have no aerial on the roof so it would involve cutting the slot for the aerial to bolt .
Questions
1.does anyone know exact measurements as to where the aerial sits from the spoiler end of the roof
2. What else is required to get the aerial working?
3.is the reception better for the rns with the shark fin aerial
4.should I not bother and leave the roof alone???
Thanks for any advice or threads anyone can post up
