I never understand why people dont just stamp on the brakes and turn the ignition off the moment these things happen. I know it must be fairly panicky at the time, but .................

Stamp on the brake, use the handbrake, stall the engine, remove it out of gear, turn of the engine.......alot of thing syou coiuld have tied

It did seem to be shifting though  :driver:

That was fake, at the very least it was sped up some. Any idiot with half a brain would have stamped on the brake put the handbrake on and made a quick exit stage door right.

i have seen this happen a few times in the past and i know people have tried taking the keys out and stomping on the brakes but the car has just kept going. I think they were all autos too so the car would not let them do anything.Buy a proper gearbox and just stick the clutch pedal in and let the mtr blow up if the car wont turn off or try and stall it. i think Ford had problems with the Galaxy a few years ago all auto boxes too i think and i know it killed a few people too

sounds like a woman driver to me.... i dont know 1 woman driver who knows what any of that stuff you mentioned is  :laugh:

I've got a Hyundai i30 as a courtesy car at the moment. Too scared to drive the damn thing now after that vid  :grin:
