Car recall

Hi everyone long story short I got an old 2003 civic its got a problem with one of its headlights and by some forums and vosa their was a recall on this. But how long do you get till they refuse the work as I know of a couple of people on other forums with recall work outside of warrenty all confusing can any one give some advise

A recall should be valid for the life of the car, and the dealer shouldn't give a toss as the manufacturer refunds the costs - it's easy money to them.

My old corsa was recalled for the seat belt tensioner and it was 12 years old :grin:
