abs, traction control lights, lit up on dash, so carried out scan, showed up as 00290- ABS wheel speed sensor, rear left,(g46) 003 mechanical failure.
So i fitted a new sensor, checked the wiring getting a live feed down one of the wires, other seemed ok, so rebuilt and rechecked, reset, lights still on, now getting another message, 00290 ABS wheel speed sensor, rear left,(g46) 012 electrical fault in circuit.
Next day door controller on ns door stopped working so i disconnected the battery for a couple of hours to reset, when i started the car the steering wheel light appeared on the dash, so i carried out basic settings for steering angle, it checked out ok , so carried out Steering limit stop adaption, now the steering is very heavy.
So what do i do now, will the abs fault have to be fixed before the steering will reset?, and any suggestions what to do next regarding the abs fault, dont want to renew abs reluctor ring as part of bearing and expesive unless neccessary, thanks for any help.
