Yes robin, I was the one that alerted John (hurdy) to try a comparison to his race logic setup  :happy2:

It works perfectly fine mate. I want to go out and do some more tests, but I'm currently Ed30 less and also have a pelvis that prevents me from standing  :sad1:

....So the only question then is whether the iPad 3 (Wi-Fi only version) has a GPS unit built in whereas apparently my iPad 2 doesn't. I suppose it's worth throwing away £3 for me to find out but I'm living off Benefits nowadays  :sad1:

Am I setting the Drivetrain Loss at 0% or a specific figure (and what is that figure)?

Does this affect any results or is it just to do with how its displayed in either BHP or WHP?

....Don't you need to set a Drivetrain Loss if DSG?

Robin, I've downloaded it for my iPhone but am now putting it on my iPad 2 16gb Wi-Fi (no 3G on that one) so will give it a go tomorrow and let you know (to cold to go out now  :ashamed:)

Thanks Steve and Rich for the info!  :drinking:

....Thanks, Rich!  :drinking: Test shows that with Wi-Fi switched off the Map Server is not available but all is good when the Wi-Fi is switched back on.

So, Dynolicious won't work on a Wi-Fi only iPad 2.

Works perfectly okay on my Ipad 2 WIFI only Robin.

It works off the internal gyroscopes to calculate accelleration from G readings. :happy2:

Additionally, if you require GPS/net access, you can always tether the WiFi only iPad to a 3/4G smartphone.

....Useful/helpful info for someone else but I don't use a 3/4G smartphone - A simple Nokia C3 touch screen phone fulfils my mobile needs.  :happy2:

My onboard GPS SatNav is all handled by an Alpine double head unit with flip up touch screen etc so no need for an iPad or phone in my car.

The plot thickens! So, does that mean that ALL the features which Dynolicious offers are usable on a WIFI-only iPad 2?
