Not displaying is now Ã‚Â£60 but no points ... AFAIK .... the fine used to be Ã‚Â£30 but has just gone up - as it has for not wearing a seat belt.

What if its displayed in the window?

Or is it a case that it has to be on the front of the car?

The plate is supposed to be infront of the headlights, just so everybody knows.

thanks for that mate. unfortunately i cant find any dvla stuff with regards to the actual fitment of the plate i.e location

i got pulled on monday for this

they were doing stop checks at wigan pier

got pulled... and it was the same cop that stopped me for my front tints on my golf... just my luck....

the fines coming through the post

but the plates back on the front of the car..

right finally got my fine through..
got a Ã‚Â£60 fine but no points thank god..
