thinking of fitting 8x19 et 48 whats the best size tyres to use ? Cheers guys

Not sure but i think you would need a spacer on the front and the wheels would have a bit of poke.

225/35/19 is the best tyre for that setup.

as above, although 235/35x19 will be fine as well (better than 215s although these would fit).  My wheels are 8x19, ET50 with 235s and although they sit slightly within the arch, for the style of wheel I have that's fine by me.  Spacers would only be needed if you want to push them right to the edge of the arch and probably only for the back (8mm).

Yes you are right, i dont know why but i read it as 9.5j ET 48

but 8mm spacers are non-centered.
Aren't we against noncentered spacers? Especially on the front?

You can get 8mm spacers that are centered (spigoted).

cheers every one , any one actually got that set up ? any rubbing etc . would never fit spacers again !!!!!

That set up would fit without any rubbing.

As I said, spacers are not needed at all, but if someone is looking for a wheel/tyre set up that comes right to the arch edges, then spacers or a different offset wheel would be required.
