So a trip too Storms today.... Taken out in the DSG turbo build and the difference the new Plug and Play ECU has made is night and day. Big power and still extremely usable as a daily with so many trick features. I'm just so glad of the delays too mine too enable me too have this technology from the start on my build!!

Engine is now built and has a gearbox fitted too it also... Wiring loom was being cleaned up and altered as necessary and the final ancillaries prepped. A few bits sent off for polishing and the new fire wall covering being made. Engine mounts are going in and the engine will be installed next week
Progression is moving at a rapid pace and it was unbelievable too hear of the interest in my car from people calling in and others phoning them up too find information out information on my car!!!!

Anyway some pics

I've been this patient so a few more weeks is no real biggie
When I was at Storms last week I found myself just staring at this car and it's just so surreal the fact I'm lucky enough too own it.... I wouldn't be surprised if a few tears may appear when it fires up in early Jan as it's been quite a journey.... But a worth while one so all good   :happy2:
I'm expecting it back now in mid Jan with smaller injectors and a tame map just so we can run the engine in properly and then back too have this changed and put on the rollers too crank it up. Testing day has now been moved too February which suits me better with more time too adjust too the car!!

So I went down too see the progress and discuss the final decisions. Seems strange seeing a full engine bay and knowing its weeks from making a noise!!

Definitely couldn't of fitted a bigger turbo as still got the heat shield to fit yet!!

Actually a bit more room than this as the rear mount isn't fixed as the subframes out too fit the Downpipes but it's still tight ;)

This is its last spot of which it's been rolled too.... From here it will be driven

Have a good New Year and may see a few of you in 2015!!!
