Haha, yes I'm excited. I'm looking forward to see its finished paint job, then see it sat back on its OZ's, windows in etc, brakes will be good  :wink:  and then the engine which is what the cars been built around....
The day I receive the call to go and hear it fire into life all the struggles will seem like a distant memory...
Should be a good year, well next few months  :drinking:

We set off this morning to go visit the car and was welcomed by a very happy and enthusiastic Lyle and Chris. The pics don't do the car justice and when you see the car in the flesh you appreciate the depth. Once all mopped and polished and sat in the sun I'm sure its going to Pop.......

Anyway a few pics

Car is pretty much in base coat now......















Side skirts are fitted and bonded.....





Top coat is on boot shut, rear of tailgate, under side of bonnet, sides of wings, filler flap, doors etc and car was to be re assembled once we left with final prep etc ready for final paint on whole car when Lyles in the zone......

As we had the day off we decided to have some lunch to celebrate what we've achieved with the car so far and then headed north to see the main ingredient of the build......

Anyways it was nice to be reacquainted with the engine and now they truly are waiting for the car.
New clutch now fitted and we've gone for Clutchmasters FX850

 



Also there was another little present waiting for us which is waiting to be fitted







Difficult to not be excited now but must remain calm and wait for the next hiccup
