Who suppplied the front brakes Matt? What clearance issues if any did you have to clear them

Dave B hooked me up with them. I have no issues with clearing the brakes although I had to alter the connection pipe to clear the wheel. I had these wheels ET38 with 25 mm spacers on when the arches was built and extended 40mm. Since the TT hub carriers, TT hubs with RS3 bearings and TT wishbones have been put on I've gained 50 mm leaving 25mm of poke.
I can lose 10mm with losing the RS3 bearing and maybe I can pull the top back a bit with adjustable top mounts.
Just waiting for the rear setup so I can tackle it all with maybe just the front wheels to change ET
Dave has certainly sorted me out with some very special parts though and this is what happens when modifying a car to this level. As said if it was easy everyone would be doing it

Those brake brackets are enormous!  :signLOL:

The brakes are quite big  :stupid:

That look spot on mate a lot of work

Cheers mate.... Yep a fair bit I guess

Its a DIY job. We wanted to do the bumpers ourselves but lacked the space. I now have a fair sized unit which allows me more freedom to mess about in. It should be nice and different once finished with its purpose to protect the bumper a bit and hold the no. plate.
Thankyou..... I think I have mild OCD!

So I now have all the hubs and carriers and have managed to have myself a rolling chassis once more. Adjustable front top mounts and a bit of jiggery pokerie and I've managed to have the wheels fitting / sitting nice. Hoping the rear discs and calipers are with me this week or maybe next or realistically Somewhen :)

A few more pics

This thing looks incredible mate, amazing work  :notworthy: is this going to be ready for any shows this year? Need to see this beast in person. Good luck with the rest of the build  :happy2:

I'm hoping to have it ready at some point this year and get it out on some shakedown runs but have never planned for showing it. Although I honestly never planned for this kind of response. If its ready I'll be there joining in the fun and shenanigans. Thanks for the kind comments btw  :happy2:

Really Appreciate it

Expecting 2 parcels tommorrow courtesy of a certain Mr David Brown & Vagbremtechnic.
Typical with this build though I've noticed on FB my mate who's supposedly altering my bumper has decided he needs a vacation........ :fighting:
