Hello everyone.

So...  shaving my hair off is something that I have been thinking about doing for a while now.

I am doing this for two reasons....

The first is raising money for a good cause. Both mine and Lauras grandmothers suffered the horrible effects of this disease, and at present there is no cure. Hopefully we can raise some money to help the researchers in their quest for preventatives and hopefully a cure.

The second reason is becuase I really need a hair cut...... :-)

I will be shaving my hair off (grade 1) on Sunday, 10th of March.... a fitting Mothers Day present for my lovely mum who always nags me about my long hair.

Please donate what you can... even if it is only a small amount.

Every little helps Damian, thank you... and sorry to hear your family has also been affect by this... its horrid.  :sad1: 

Because of the nature of it I'm not expecting people to donate a ton of money, but hopefully I have enough contacts to raise a decent amount over the next 6 weeks.

Good on ya Rich! Its a terrible disease, it is the cruelest way to watch are loved ones pass away  :fighting:. My Nan died of this disease and lived with us when i was a child while she was in the full throws. Obviously i didn't understand what was going on but i can remember vividly, lots strange things going on like it was yesterday.  :sad1:

Also i am bald like you will be :innocent: and some times cant remember what day it is.  :rolleye:

My Dad died this time last year.
He was a big strong bull of a man reduced to nothing over two years, Heart breaking to see someone go like that.
