Pre-cat removal or suitcase delete.
« on: January 28, 2013, 10:06:51 pm »
Not being able to afford a new exhaust system I'm looking at the cheaper alternatives. Which one of the two options above  gives the best results on the sound front? What's the difference in sound change with each?

Thanks.

Delete the precat.

With your mods its the best you can do to help things. Can't say I'd be bothered if it made any difference in the sound though.

The resonator delete is an easy path for a bit more impressive sound.

Pre-cat removal will make your exhaust sound a bit deaper, not much noisier though - but there are other benefits of removing the Pre-cat

Messing around with the resonator / suitcase will more likely result in a droning exhaust which will drive you up the wall
