Filter Change - Dbilas
« on: July 13, 2009, 09:52:04 am »

At what sort of mileage / timescale / usage would you recommend changing the K&N filter in the Dbilas?
Are other brands of element that fit available?

Thanks

I thought K&N filters were guaranteed for 1,000,000 miles. As long as you clean it regularly it should never need replacing.

The K&N filter just clean up and get re-oiled. You can buy a kit thats has the cleaning solution and red oil for er, re-oiling it.

Just make sure to remove all excess oil thoroughly, don't want any MAF issues  :happy2:

I <3 ITG but I'm sticking with the K&N for now.

Do you get the dbilas hawwee noise as well?
