If the main logo was made with a transparent PNG, then placed above the 'user area' with z-index, you'd be able to get the resolution down to about 820px on the horizonal without losing the image described in the OP... which is good enough for most iPhone resolutions.

But tbh, doesn't bother me in the slightest. :drinking:
