That "ordinary looking girl from Scotland" comes across much better in moving film/video than in still photographs.

Besides which she is no "ordinary" girl but clearly a girl with personality and a very happy disposition. On top of all that she is a genuine petrolhead girl - Not many who are like her about.

As Saintly Steve says, it's not just about looks.

A woman's true beauty is in her heart and spirit and I see an inner beauty inside Amy Macdonald. As far as looks are concerned I think her eyes and mouth are physically very attractive but it's her disposition which shines through and is so attractive.

She is animated and vivacious. If I was in her age group and knew her I could probably fall in love with her as many others could.

Agree with Robin here  

She is not the best looking women in the world, no doubt. But being able to talk cars all day and actually get a response is much more appealing than looks. If I floor it with my misses in the passenger seat, she looks at me like I have just taken a sh*t on her favourite shoes, I imagine miss macdonald would be begging for more!
