http://www.westonperformance.comThe 2008 Weston meet started from a group of MkV owners based in the Midlands wanting to meet up to discuss/view modifications. We decided a Rolling Road day at Weston Performance would be a good location. Soon we attracted the attention of several MkV GTI owners and took a bit of light hearted stick from MkIV R32 owners for not being invited (which wasn't the case!). Anyway, the day was enjoyable and the addition of a few modified GTI's added some spice (you kicked our buts!). This year we're having a GTI (MkV Only) vs R32 (MkV & MkIV) theme. Each side will compete for the highest average bhp figure. Ideally it would be good to have 10 a side (it doesn't matter if one side has more than the other) but we need a minimum of 5 a side. This is only a bit of fun so please don't be put off if you're stock! There are no cash prizes, just the honour of being the 2009 team champions ;-)
Titles: 1. Team with the highest average BHP
2. Most powerful GTI
3. Most powerful R32
We will also be collecting data such as mileage, modifications, fuel etc... for each participant and post up the data after the event. This could give a useful insight into which intake, fuel, remap etc... gives the best gains.

State that you wish to book a place on the R32OC RR day, pay the £45 and give him your R32OC forum username. The meet will take place at Weston HQ (B90 4NG) from 9:30am onwards with the first car likely to go on the rollers at 10am.Please don't leave it until the last minute!------------------------------------------------------------------
Weston Performance are regarded as one of the foremost testing facilities in the UK, due to the combination of their purpose built dyno cell and the Dyno Dynamics rolling road diagnostic capabilities. They have perhaps the most advanced dyno cell in the UK, so much so that they carry out controlled dyno testing and research and development for some of the 'Toca Tour' British touring car teams, not to mention many other independent race teams in the UK.

I have already been and can vouch that they're a good, professional outfit.
I will call Paul each week to confirm payments but feel free to post on here once completed and I will update your status on R32OC (will still be checked with Paul).
