012555 - Low Pressure Fuel regulation .
               P310B - 002 - Fuel Pressure Outside Specification  - Intermittent

This error has come on again and im struggling to find out why it keeps doing it. First time it happened i put in a new fuel filter and it sorted it out. Now after 4 months its back on again. Idle the lpfp is showing 5bar. I swapped lpfp from a friends to test and still the problems there. Cam follower, hpfp is all fine. I have changed to the latest sensor on the side of the hpfp also. Seems like the lpfp is dropping below 3 bar when on full wot causing the hpfp low on figures.

I am stage2+ revo software.

Anyone know what else i can do to fix this problem that keeps happening ?

I even taken it to a vw specialist and they couldnt find a fix to it.

Thanks in advance.

Intermittent faults like is are when the problem occurs just by dropping out of its threshold. Most common is there will be a short to ground or open circuit check the resistance in the wirring dude. May be rubbed throu somewhere and touching a ground when on boost every now and then.

Could it be you have a version A camshaft and the hpfp cam lobes have worn down...

I think i have the ver A camshaft... How would this cause the Lpfp to go under 3 bar on boost?
