Wheel and tyre calculator

Stumbled across this and thought it would be pretty handy for people looking to change their wheels

http://www.torquevw.com/how_to_guides/general_alloy_wheels/tyre_calculator.xls

You put in the current wheel and tyre combination and then what you are looking to change to and it gives you an indication of whether or not this will fit.

If you are running the OEM setup of Monza II's you would put in:
Tyre width: 225
Profile: 40%

Rim width: 7.5 inch
Diameter: 18 inch
ET: 51mm

and then you proposed combination and voilá draws a diagram and everything  :happy2:

I prefer to use this site: clicky

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
