I still need to buy the Bluetooth kit and wondered how easy it is to set up. Whether it will be plug and play with my new RNS510 version p or if its gonna need additional coding etc? Any advice much appreciated.

Also does anyone here have the latest Bluetooth OEM kit for sale?

Cheers
Mark

Yes you'll need to activate Telephone in the CAN gateway, as a minimum.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

I know for definite that the 5k0 Bluetooth kits are plug and play for everything but voice control I believe - as I have one fitted with my rcd510 and also fitted to a friends rns510 and it worked as soon as plugged in.

There are different versions - some others show on the highline dash etc

I write that because if you buy a kit with voice activation you might need additional coding.

Otherwise just tick 77-telephone in the gateway and it will see it, all of it takes minutes anyway

OK thanks a lot for the info. What about wiring the bluetooth? Is that easy to do? Or does it need to be done differently to factory

You can just get a plug an play loom - soo easy as it just plugs on to current loom - drop EddieNL a pm - he is the guru and will be able to advise and perhaps supply (I bought Bluetooth module box elsewhere but got loom from Ed)
