Fuel gauge issue Urgent help please !!!!!!
« on: March 21, 2013, 11:48:19 pm »
I have a 105bhp 1.9tdi mk5 golf
My fuel gauge doesn't work
So i have replaced the fuel sender ( no change )
Vag com scan ( no faults )
Checked all wires for voltage change while moving sender ( all ok )
Checked sequence on vag com to test the gauge ( works fine )
But I was told that the gauge test is internal and not a test from the sender so I though I will buy some highline clocks
The arrived yesterday, plugged them in and still no fuel gauge :(
I'm extremely frustrated and confused as to what it can be ?
Any advice would be much appreciated
Thank you
Also I'm in Newport South Wales if anyone is local that can help cheers

Free Bump.

Might be worth changing the title to something like "Fuel gauge does not work - Help Please"

As said above, You really need to title threads like this with the actual issue, means someone can search for a solution when they have the same problem as you in future  :happy2:
