Dont bother with vagcom, just take the plastic cover off under each seat, its about 6'' x 3'', then follow the 2 wires down from the seat and unplug them from the box. Hey presto no bonging sounds anymore. No dash lights, airbags still work and mot passable.  :happy2:

When you put your sports bag/shopping/pet walrus on the passenger seat it's unbearably irritating.

Why do folk always write comments like that on threads like these?  Of course you are going to wear a seat belt when driving, you would be an idiot not to. As soon as the ignition it turned on the bonger starts without giving you the chance to do anything, unless you belt up before hand. Thats annoying as hell. Some people like to have the car running for a moment while they sort things out inside, like kids, the stereo, mobile phones etc etc without being stuck in your seat by the belt or the bonger doing your head in. THEN they put the belt on when they're ready to drive.

Translation;

Perhaps if the original post described it, then an obvious comment would be made not made
