Boot popper enquiries help

Hi guys just wondering if any of you have done this mod and what you need I know you need
• skoda fabia gas struts
• seat Leon boot pins
• scirocco Springie stoppers to push the boot out

But my main one is does any one know how to change the setting on the key fob button from just unlocking it to actually opening the it.

Any help would be greatful

You will need activate the button on your fob. What you need is

2 x 6Y0 827 550 C (Skoda Fabia gas struts)
2 x 1K8 827 761 C (Scirocco bump stops)
2 x 1J6 827 439 A (Seat Leon ball pins)

Did mine a few months ago and its 60/40 - sometimes it opens sometimes not. When it works its great.......

After I posted this I found a group buy for these but not sure. If its still on the go.

Can I get these from the vw dealer or you To each dealer it's been a while since I shopped regular at the v dub dealer since things/dealers have changed about up here in north Wales. But hopefully I can just go to them and get it sorted.

Is there anyone in the north wales area that can unlock this thanks.

You can still get the kit. You just email the dealers and quote mk5 boot pop and they should sort you out. Coding is 46- cent conv, byte 2, bit 3 i think. That coding didnt work for me so used some different coding

Cheers buddy where is that dealers any way as will get on to them saves me running round trying to put it all together thanks for doing the kit 
What would you do if that wasn't the right code is it a different code for different cars over a couple of years. This is the part where I only let myself down is dealing with the computer side of things everything else is fine .
