Forge Headquarters
« on: April 20, 2013, 10:29:41 pm »
So whilst in Florida I thought I would take a trip to Forge's headquarters. I don't know what I was expecting , but it was not it. It was kinda out of the way and was just two units, one as a warehouse, the other with space for a few cars and a couple lifts. The guys (not even many of them) were nice but looked slammed (hah) but they said that they don't have a huge amount for the MK5 anymore. I have some pics of some cars they have there that I will upload later.

Its funny how some of these 'big' companies turn out to be smaller than expected.
That Karman is lovely, but that R (if it was a touch lower) makes me melt

(tongue firmly in cheek) Was you expecting red carpet, full fun fair, girls in bikini's, are you someone special in the world? Nope didn't think so.

As others have said, if you checked and did some homework, they are a UK company with a branch in the USA. The Karmann Ghia was a nice find in the warehouse, but you need to remember that although the Golf has some market out there, their biggest would still have to be either muscle or Japanese.

Then I was misinformed by someone, I was on the road in the US, limited connectivity. And no, I wasn't expecting red carpet...
