Cool mate,  I'll try to dig out a pic of mine on the Eibach's for you to see. :happy2:

Thanks man, appreciate it.

Been following your thread over on seatcupra.net. Looks like a bit of a weapon!

Are these the springs you meant?

Ha, cheers matey!  :drinking:

Yeah those are the ones. They are pretty good actually but don't forget you'll need a full wheel alignment after fitting them.
I got coilovers fitters few months back so I need a 4 wheel alighnment right? Any idea on the cost of this? Thanks :)
Btw love the k1 looks great

I'd go for a milltek tb system mate, I've got the de-cat down pipe on mine and it sounds awesome!
I always get comments on how well it sounds,
Defo sort that ride height out tho  :happy2:
Nice car btw

Cheers for the comments guys!

Bit of an update; S3 intercooler fitted:

Difference in core size between OEM (rear) and the S3 part:

Back together again:

Took about 4.5 hours from start to finish. Biggest job was removing the bugger of a bumper! Thoughts? Well, nothing overly noticeable power wise, except i'm getting a bit of clutch slip now, but I know the cooler will help keep everything healthy

Creation motorsport stainless steel footrest:

And now onto a bit of a problem. A loud whine has developed in the engine in 1st-3rd gears. Had it assessed by 2 separate mechanics and it looks like it's a gearbox bearing, so not going to be a cheap fix. While i'm at it, i plan to add a Sachs organic clutch (with a torque rating of 400 lbsft) in preparation for stage 2 next year. Also hoping to get a set of Eibach sportlines fitted, along with silicone boost hoses, Rev 'D' diverter valve, 13mm rear and 8mm front spacers. That lot depends on how much the gearbox fix is going to be!

Apart from that, the next big lot of mods will hopefully happen early next year with a Revo intake, HPFP, full non res BCS exhaust system, Stage 2 and eventually KW coilovers.

Dave

You noticed any improvements with the s3 cooler in this heat? Think mine on standard cooler is holding back a bit.

Is this hot weather helping to show up any difference with the intercooler?

Do you think it would be beneficial to remove/move the numberplate? It must block the IC a fair bit.

Number plate blocks bugger all matey as the front spoiler is almost the same shape behind the plate anyway. Better off removing the a/c condenser core as that sits directly in front of the i/c!  :happy2:

4WD Leon Cupra TTE420 K1, maybe slightly modded.

The plate will still block air to the cooler though. Not sure why you'd increase the size of the cooler then block any of it, unnecessarily.

The plate looks awful too, but that's very much a personal preference. Hope the OP doesn't take offence - none meant

That said, the car generally looks ace. After owning a white Cupra with black wheels I still have a soft spot for them. Absolutely fantastic cars for the money.
