3m headlight restoration kit..

Alright peeps..

Iv got really foggy headlights and just wounderin if anyone had the same and used one of these kits to solve it?


Does it work?

Is it worth it?

Loads of people have used rfe 3m kit with some good results!! Have a look in the detailing section, some threads in there about it!

Some peeps have had some brilliant results with that kit, i have this kit but still not got round to using it.

Go for it, just take your time as once you've started there's no turning back.  :laugh:

We all got them on a 50% off deal from 3M directly. Do a search for "3M Restoration Kit" and Amazon or EBay is your best bet, costs around £17+.

I got mine last summer and still Havnt used it! But I got it because I saw some excellent results! I'm going to have to do it soon, having one dull headlight it's horrible!

To be honest i dont think you can beat a proper job and wet sand them, i done mine last week, started with 800 grit then 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000, 2500 and then polished out with autosol, it was a long process took me the best part of 7 hours to do both of them but they now look brand new, will get some photos uploaded and show the before and after, mine were shocking they looked like the previous owner had cleaned them with a brillow pad or something and over time they had just turned a nasty yellow, look clear as day now!

The 3m kit works really well and won't take 7hrs  :smiley:, couple of hours tops  :happy2:
