Replace entire door mirror - how do I do it?
« on: May 19, 2013, 08:48:15 am »
Whilst fitting my InPro smoked mirror indicators yesterday I found that my near side mirror was badly damaged inside.  The main structural joint has snapped in half and is beyond repair  :sad1:  I can see some paint touch up where the previous owner has tried to hide the damage externally and I've also noticed the mirror is slightly wonky.

So, I'm thinking of buying a replacement unit on eBay, put my InPro in it and my cover on it and fit it to the car.  Anyone know how you replace the entire mirror unit??  Any pointers to some illustrated guide would be great.

Thanks

Its easier with taking the door card off as the tweeter needs to come off
