Mk5 gti 08
« on: May 23, 2013, 04:32:33 pm »
2008, manual, 5 door, 37,000 miles, full service history, 4 owners from new, heated seats, multifunction steering wheel, cruise control. Really nice spec.

He wants £7,750 for it, which is ridiculously cheap, I,ve done the proper checks everything comes back fine, he said its so cheap because its a jap import ?

Does thing ring true, or is it too good to be true ?

I think it was damaged and it wasn't registered or something as the rear left side is well spanking, all other alloys have marks and what not, the paint work is blemish free on thid side, also the wheel camber on that side is noticeably different. Cheers

4 owners in 5 years...sounds dubious.

I'm sure there are better examples out there.

If your in the market for a GTI,why not check what's for sale on here as at least more often than not the car will be well looked after.

For comparison, when I bought my 2008 Gti two years ago (28k on clock), VW were asking £14k for it.. so yes, 7.5k sounds too cheap  :surprised:
