NEW TO GTI. SEEKING FOR HELP :)
« on: August 07, 2009, 02:10:39 am »
Greeting from NZ  ED30 owner
I just had my ED30 for 3 days, very happy with the purchase.

But just have one question about this button besides the ESP. The dealer told that this is to enable system monitoring during long distance trip. Is this true? Do I need to use this button very often?

Here is my black ED30, will take more pictures later

first welcome

the button is the tyre pressure warning system reset button, if you have changed a tyre, or have had a puncture and fixed it, you press this button to reset the system :happy2:

....

A Warm Welcome to the forum, kenody! :drinking:

It's as gaz says - To activate you switch on ignition, hold button down for a few seconds and then you should hear a bleep when you release. You're setting a datum for the tyre pressure sensor.

Do also reset the button after any changing of tyre pressure...
