The "old" RS4 2 piston brakekit fits and should give a good pedal fell along with great braking. Only other brake setup that fits to my knowledge is the Tarox 10 pots  :happy2:

Over the top mod list ;o)

Mine needed 3mm to clear an 18" Monza, not sure if a Pescara is the same/more/less generous?

Just replied in the 996TT review thread

I always used to carry a set of B5 RS4 brakes for those with show wheels or restrictively rimmage, might even have some somewhere take a look in Top Cats Golf build thread or PM him for a review

They're 360mm and I don't think there is a B5 Rs4 running the stock 360BHP, they're uber tuneable and they quickly get upgraded to the B7 brakes because they're plug and play.

Still 2k KGs and 360BHP stoppers though, good pedal evidently too, loads of pads available

I thought you were of that opinion DaveB, but wouldn't quote you. The set you helped me get for a mate here in Denmark is still on his carm that is now a showcar. I just saw it in it's newest incarnation at DHB (Denmarks Fastest Carshow)

Wider fenders and total redone cabin, it's special but we all have our own taste

They're the same ones Top Cat had and we tried everything to get something upgraded to fit.

The B5 kit worked and believe it not fitted behind 17" TD1.2s which TC ran with track rubber not bad for 360mm discs

Anyone tried Stop   Tech  brakes ?
Worried about spaces on the front. Had rears with no issues  but worried about spaces  .KW Csports with geo set up and anti lift kit set up.
Wonder if Tarox kit is up to the job?

Stoptech are some of the bulkiest ones. You will need a big spacer to fit them.
Most BBK have sketches that you can use to see clearance, posted on their websites.

Stop tech.

Brembo castings under license.

Just one other thing to bear in mind with skinny Calipers is that you can't get a quart out of a pint pot. Skinny Calipers have small pistons, small pistons need skinny pads, skinny pads get changed twice as often.

The TTRS uses a fairly skinny Caliper and when I first saw a set of new OEM pads for t I thought I'd been sold part worns.....same as on the EVO

Tarox 10 pot I assume is the 330mm kit??

I see there is a bigger 345mm kit.....shame the anodised caliper discolours especially in red....I may ring Tarox regarding this. My old kit was in their normal colour. They worked very well.....bit noisy but I expected that. VWR kit looks nice but will need spacers.
Tarox discs and bells were expensive to replace....approx £1k back 5-7 yeras ago on 6 pot kit!!
Lovely pedal feel and great modulation for track.

Last set up I had used Clubsports and spacers on the rear.....none on front as I was concerned they interfere with handling. Will ring VWR on that.

Just ordered Kenwood DNX DAB and KW's on the way.

Just wondering whether I should put W.A.L.K or Superpro bushes in??
