Electric windows

Hi peeps, has anyone had problems with their electric windows going down themselves? My drivers one went down half way during the night on Friday and the passenger one went down yesterday during the day, the same halfway. Havent a clue whats happening so any info would be greatly appreciated ..... cheers

Iv read about this happening before..... But cant remember the cure!! Have a search for it

Part of the Mk5 mysterious electrical gremlins.. you had the rear wiper come on and stay for no apparent reason? And faulty cruise contacts too... all intermittment.

I think the windows opening by themselves was on the early models which was fixed by a software update or if that didn't work then a new window motor

Haven't had any other electrical problems at all. And my car is a 2008 so would have thought the software update should be on it. Hasn't done it today.......yet lol

I have no idea, don't even know if my car has that. Plus it was pissing of rain when it opened on Sat lol
