There is no "right choice" for detailing products. Ask 100 detailers and you'll get 100 different answers.

I generally recommend getting the car detailed by a pro and then maintaining it whilst you learn about detailing. You would need buckets, shampoo, wash media (eg mitt, sponge), drying towel, maybe a quick detailer and/or wax for topping up.
