New from Ireland
« on: July 01, 2013, 11:40:28 pm »
Hi all, new member from Ireland. I've been snooping for a while and this looks to be a great site. I've bought a White MK5 2 door with leather and DSG about 4 months ago and have been busy with it. (i'll post pictures if i can figure it out!) I've also got a 1983 Mars red MK1 tucked away at home in the garage for special occasions and have just sold a black anniversary GTI TDI MK4 so its safe to say i'm fond of the marque!  :happy2:

I've been away from VW for a while having been in Evo's for a long time, the drop in power is taking a bit of getting used to again but the upgrade in comfort/equipment more than makes up for it......never mind the extra cash in my pocket from the extra MPG!

I'm sure i'll be picking some of your brains at some point regarding technical stuff in the near future but thats it for now!

(Hope the pictures work!!)

No, not me buddy, i'm in the Drogheda/Dublin area so a bit far for footie!!

Cheers for the kind comments, I've got a few bits in mind for the interior including possibly a MK6 steering wheel and retrofit
cruise. I had to get the outside sorted as it was completely standard when i bought it as you can se form the pics and just looked l
like every other GTI (or 1.4 for that matter!) on the road.  :surprised:
