And with the money you saved by not getting the OZ Alleggerita's you could get some Toyo R888's, a new set of normal road tyres and still have £400 left!!
Golf R gone.

no no no no no ......
now if you go for these , thats a different story :happy2:

Those are the Alleggerita's that I mentioned to Robin earlier today.

The 18's are around 1.1kg lighter than the TDPR1.2's. A set without tyres cost around £1,500. The TDPR1.2's under £500 for just alloys

http://www.performancealloys.com/details.asp?procedure=wheel&id_wheels='Alleggerita%20Titanium%205F'&id_wheels_manufacturers='O.Z%20Racing'&id_wheels_sizes='18x7.5'&price='389'&permission=1003711616

BUT ....if you put "hi tec"labels on ronaldo s predetor boots hes s going to look a complete knob !!! robin your not short of a few quid , get the real deal , your cars had the best of pretty much every thing else , dont spoil it now

OZ alloys are now made in China :P..... like Hi-Tec :rolleye:
sorry pal , just had to say that, you ve got to admit them oz wheels are awesome ? :drinking:

Yeah, there's no doubting the quality and lightness of the OZ offering. It only really makes sense if you want the last ounce of performance out of the car and with the £1k you save, you could make better performance elsewhere for less :happy2:
Now if it were Jonnyc I was talking to, then it would be a different conversation altogether :jumping:

....I already had the chance to go K04 when my K03 failed, QD. I'm not seeking more power or to play with the engine internals.

Thanks for the thought though. :happy2:

....I think you may very well be right, Steve. I'd have to think hard about that combo - It works in design theory but not necessarily in practice/reality.

They can do them in orange though!

....There's no doubt - They do look awesome but I wasn't planning on spending so much [I'm sure that's not the first time I've said that regarding my car!]
