The cars that may not see any benefit will be the ones running standard software.

I did a kit for the 1.8 TFSI A3 which saw no gains on standard software but picked up 13bhp with a stage 1 map

Yep - thats the one

Different kit and different car, so may not be the same with the 2.0

Once I've got the final bits sorted I'll see if Steve P is up for a rolling road test - will be able to run various maps and see how each one works with the kit

Would like to see Vag Com logs of how this kit performs too! Presumably you have overcome the common issue found with many other aftermarket intakes regarding out of scale maf housings?

Look forward to seeing the results  :happy2:

^^^ IIRC the MAF housing is 67mm round which I am lead to believe is correct size to maintain the scale  :happy2:

I will be getting together some logs and hopefully dyno graphs once Andy has done some more work on the kit.

Yep thats about right mate, 2.62" or 66.55mm to be exact i think. Would be interesting to see logs of airflow, intake temps and long term fuel trims if you get chance.

^^ He emailed me to ask as with the Xenon's on the S3 you can't fit it in the stock place.

I reckon VrStu will have a plan to get around this.  :happy2:
