The foam strip across the top of the battery box is fixed into the wing through the oem hole.
You could velcro the foam if you so wish, I've yet to have an issue when opening the bonnet.

Also, the foam compresses nicely, so I believe it would work well even on a CF bonnet.

First true production kit for the Golf left ITG today and is now sat in my hall ready to be fitted to someone's car in the morning (unless I receive any better offers in the mean time).  :laugh: :laugh:



It also includes a slight revision to the foam shield with a rubber edging strip now included on the ali plate and the foam edge is now tappered as well  :happy2:


 
Also had the forth version put on mine today with the production parts too, next week it's being dyno'ed to get a true before and after  :popcornsoda:

Just wondering if Steve or anybody with the ITG has done any boost logs in Vag-Com? Does this over come the shortfall in actual vs requested boost towards redline as seen on Revo Stage 2+ with the standard airbox?
