Tyre problems help!

Hi guys would really appreciate any help. So had my
Tyres changed for part worns until brand new ones arrived.. One of the part worns goes flat luckily new tyres arrived got them fitted the next day the same wheel with the new tyre went flat.. Got the valve replaced and the alloy checked over for any cracks but could find anything.. Why does my tyre keep going flat after 5-6 hours starting to stress me out any help would be much appreciated!

Bent wheel, cracked, lip needing sanded down to make flush?

Find an alloy repair place near you to have a look

Sounds like a cracked rim mate , or the rim seal is not straight.

Has the wheel been pot holed in the past .

Have you water dunked it ?

If it were mine I would remove the wheel from the car and cover the wheel and tyre with a mild soppy solution of water and see if any bubbles are forming. If it goes flat that quick it should be easy to find the leak.

I suppose it could be either of the things you all mentioned. Only thing that makes sense now is hairline crack in alloy.. Heard of a guy called steve edwards in halifax gunna take it to him. Anyone heard of him or know of any other alloy refurb places in west yorkshire

After you have it sorted its worth gettingthentyres nitrogen filled. The molecules are bigger than oxygen ones so less car escape from any bad seals

Well cleaned the tire off myself and noticed a hairline crack so will be taking it to paul mcdonald and son website is rimtek.co.uk been told good things about them.. May just get all 4 refurbed.. In need of it!

My old boss had this with his bmw wheels (common problem apparently), fine during the day when he was using it then when they cooled over night they used to loose air.

Turned out they had hairline cracks in them which expanded/contracted with temperature, so he had them welded up and refurbished at the same time.

Problem solved
