Your next car shortlist - mine seems quite short?
« on: July 29, 2013, 04:27:01 pm »
Looking at things I might need an estate next so shortlist is -

S4 Avant (2011 facelift)
Octavia Vrs estate (new one)

Or if I can still manage with a 5 dr hot hatch -

A45 AMG
M135i
Mk 7 Golf R

Nothing else seems to tick any of the boxes to replace a Stg 2+ Eddie. Whats on your shortlist?
Diamond Black Pearl Edition 30, still going strong but now back to Stg 1

If I was forced into another hatchback then A45 AMG hands down.

Alternatively at a similiar price point id get a used C63 AMG

The arrival of a little Beddie had us wanting to swap our 3 door ed30 for something a little more family practical but just as fun, so bought the only car on our shortlist... Ed35  :happy2:

Iv'e been thinking about getting back into VAG group again.  :innocent:

I am fortunate enough to not need 4 doors or even a dash for that matter so have been looking at one of these.  :innocent:  :jumping:

I have been looking to change my ED30 too , I just cannot find anything that has as much chracter under 20-25k . Expect i will keep it and find myself soemthing else , trying to get my wife to part with her 60mpg £20 road tax Mini Cooper D would help but she is so taken with it and the economy of it is fantastic , its doen 50000 at an average of 53.8MPG . If i could get her into a 120d or 118d Coupe would allow me to have a 2 door like a 911 as we/i need a partical ish car
