Picked the car up from Bolton on Saturday from phantom motors. Brilliant gargle if anyone's interested.

Cars spec

42k miles
Cruise control
Updated alpine headunit with satnav and iPhone contectivity.

Looking to get some mods going soon looking at getting a full 3" exhuast milteks don't really interest me . Fancy something custom maybe a power flow

Also looking into a intake, been looking at ITGS or the Revo. Will have to do some research...

Other than that needs a detail paint is swirly!! Anyone know a good detailer in the Telford area?

Welcome mate,

Nice car, wish i had one when i was 22 :)

For rubber check out:

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2
Michelin Pilot Sport 3

Loads of info on the forum about tyres, these two seem to get the best feedback.

Had an exciting evening...

Started polishing my exhuast tip. Little things but makes it look heaps better only had up to 6000 micro mesh. ( pinched from the engine blenders) need to get the 8000 and 12000 stuff off them too..

Results

Also after some wheel wobble at about..144kph (you do the math)

I had the wheels balanced and a free alignment check which showed up all good. Wobbles all gone now.. Winner!

Been for an explore after cleaning the car. Need a decent camera to get some decent pictures.

Been looking at polybush kits for the car would you recommend getting a walk at the same time or does it not matter.

Got a load of Leds ordered for the car will get pics when fitted

Timothy.

Nice Jag.  :happy2:

Your BBS from the Ibiza will probably be the wrong PCD for the Golf.
