New GTI Owner!
« on: August 08, 2013, 08:08:43 am »
After doing 500miles over the weekend looking for a good GTI, i found this one on Sunday. Good straight car, FSH and only 71000miles.

Only thing letting it down was the wheels. I also hate the back bumpers how theyre plain black.

Has a Milltek cat-back resonated exhaust (wanting a non resonated for a bit noise), a Neuspeed intake kit, a Forge diverter valve and had an APR map until VW done software update and swiped it, im expecting Authaus in Edinburgh to re-map it for nothing though.  :happy2:

The night i bought it i ordered Eibach Sportline kit and BBS CH reps, because ive always loved them!

Tuesday night and stuff was here aswell as timing belt kit, so all was done and fitted by 11pm   :surprised:

Next day a bit of a tart up and shes looking gid!!

Im maybe going to go for ED30 front splitter and colour code the side skirts?

Pictures below!

Comments welcome!

Welcome mate  :happy2:

The mk6 handle you are buying will work a treat.  Best colour too

Oh and defo get the side skirts done. Eddie front splitter is nice but very pricey. You could just get the outer part of the GTI splitter done, like so. It is two part splitter so middle bit can stay black to match the rear of your car

Cheers Simon! That colour coded GTI splitter actually looks good! Is that yours?

Cheers Craigy, the spin in yours could prove expensive for me in the long run! :P

Certainly is. I have the skirts colour coded too an rear bumper like yours in the photo

Search on here for a company called readytofitpanels - they also sell on ebay under a different name (vehicleclean  I think) but they are very good, lots I members have used them. They supply and paint the parts

Welcome Gaz.  Quick transformation. The bumpers and side skirts look so much better coded.  Very nice example you've got happening now.
