Spotted: the t'old vulcan bomber

Was round at my mates yesterday when i heard a roar and the old girl flew over.
Excuse the poor pic i had to watch 1st with my own eyes haha



Anyone else see her?

Not yesterday, but the only time I've seen it in flight was over Curborough a couple of years ago. A sight and sound to behold!!!

Vulcan = epic! :notworthy:

I'm lucky as where I live its quite a regular sight practising its display etc. Its usually accompanied by a Lancaster, DC3 and the amazing soundtrack of the Spitfire & Hurricane! :happy2:

i had the red arrows fly over my house yesterday in full formation they looked ace as always  :notworthy:

If you live anywhere near to Elvington that seems to be favourite for a practice display by the various aircraft.

Yesterday she was coming back from Northern Ireland and Blackpool.  :smiley:

Must be an awesome sight when unexpected! Saw it at Goodwood this year - fantastic looking aircraft.

this was Sunday afternoon Hedge do you know were she was coming from?  i guess she was heading back home due to the direction of travel and me being near ish to her home

took me by total suprise, i heard the awesome sound looked up and there she was  :evilgrin:

Don't think so, as I am at Goodwood Revival this year and XH558 is listed on the program as performing some flybys. Will be a sad day when she is grounded, that's for sure...
