Go Fast bits - DV+
« on: August 23, 2013, 03:27:13 pm »
Well recently I've had a few issues with the OEM DV and so decided to look for a suitable replacement that didn't cost the earth., but did everything I wanted. I came across an Australian company called Go Fast Bits and they had an excellent solution. I'll not try to explain myself, so here is the link......

http://www.gfb.com.au/dv-plus-diverter-valve-for-late-model-vag-and-euro-applications

At £105 delivered I thought it was worth a punt and ordered on Tuesday and was delivered today.....good service ticks another box.

Took under ten minutes to fit  :happy2:

Works perfectly. The differences I've seen so far are that the flutter on lift off is slightly changed and every now and then a full power up shift used to have a bit of a pause, but now the shifts are seamless again with a shortened burp!

Here are a few pics.....

Golf R gone.

^^ heard nothing but good reviews on this so far! Some back to back dyno's (think Rich Wig is on this) will prove it holds the boost

I have seen it on PSI's website for less than £100 inc VAT though  :ashamed: - works out about the same if you have to post though  :sad1:

But so does rev G... And unless the revG is leaking, then it's impossible for it to gain anything.
