Having spent a fair amount of time in both cars on and around release date I can 100% guarantee the Mk7 is a far nicer interior, everything you touch and feel is much better than the Audi which is poorly laid out and nowhere near as tactile in my opinion.  :chicken:

I would say the 8P A3 interiors were nicer than the Golf.

I suppose new A3 interior is nicer than golf mark 7? This is how vw group positions their products which VW being cheaper than audi. I have not sat in new A3 but wasn't impressed with mark 7. Pretty much on par with mark 5 interior wise I would say. I ignored nicer steering wheel more glitzy chrome and talking purely about plastics etc
