I think the top of the sensor was being bent on a bracket so over time it's damaged it..

It's a pain in the arse to get hold of the old sensor and they're expensive!

I've bought my replacement through Moore I'm just waiting for him to confirm to me when he'll have it, I think Wednesday he said.
It's bloody annoying, I might buy another at a later date as a spare.
